How do you get the parameter name from the API call using swagger 2.0 in.Net Core?
I have a swagger 2.0 project which is a simple API controller. I can get a list of the parameters using swagger to list the methods, like so:
// GET: api/Category
[HttpGet]
[Route("api/Category/")]
public IEnumerable Get([FromQuery] string key) {
...
I can see it being specified in the url. I would like to be able to get the parameter name. It should be something like [FromQuery("Key")] however this does not work. The only options I have found are by hard coding the name using the optional Parameters.Type or the parameter name using the resource file but this seems a bit of a hack.
The way it is specified it doesn't work with the generated REST client library as it throws an error.
The other way of doing it is to use the swagger code generator to generate the code and specify the name of the parameter.
Is there a better way?
A:
You can define a RoutePrefix for the Get or Post requests (default is [FromUri]):
public void ConfigureServices(IServiceCollection services)
{
services.AddMvc()
.AddJsonOptions(
options => options.SerializerSettings.ReferenceLoopHandling = Newtonsoft.Json.ReferenceLoopHandling.Ignore);
services.AddSwaggerGen(c =>
{
var options = new JsonSerializerOptions
{
ReferenceLoopHandling = Newtonsoft.Json.ReferenceLoopHandling.Ignore
};
c.OperationFilter();
c.SwaggerDoc("v1",
